Wissmach luminescent coated glass is similar to the iridescent coatings, however it reacts quite differently when fired. Luminescent glass will create different effects depending on the way you fire it.

• Fire coated side down on a kiln wash dusted fibre shelf to intensify the coating.
• Fire coated side down on a kiln washed shelf or shelf paper to keep a brilliant luster.
• Fire coated side up, and the coating will stay vibrant on dark colours or fade to a beautiful delicate sheen on
light colours.
• Cover the coated side with a piece of clear and the coating will fade away completely.
